Bookings. Name, contact details, stay dates, number of guests and the details needed for payment. Basis: performance of the accommodation contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). Kept for the statutory accounting period, currently 10 years.

Guest registration. Portuguese law requires us to report the identity of guests to the competent authorities. Basis: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)). This data is used for that purpose only and never for marketing.

Messages. What you write to us before and during your stay, used to answer you and manage the stay. Kept for 24 months after the stay.

Who we share it with. Our reservation and booking system (Talkguest), the payment provider, our web host (Wix.com Ltd.), our accountant, and public authorities where the law requires. We never sell personal data. Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer relies on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.

Your rights. Access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability and objection, by writing to malasamontes@gmail.com. We answer within one month. You may also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, CNPD (www.cnpd.pt).
